Standards & Ethics
The National Healthcare Board maintains rigorous standards to protect patient safety, uphold professional integrity, and ensure public trust in certification.
NHB Code of Ethics
All NHB-certified professionals are expected to demonstrate honesty, respect for patients, professional responsibility, and ethical conduct at all times. Any act of fraud, deception, negligence, or misconduct violates NHB standards.
Certification Standards
- NHB certifications are issued only when candidates complete required training and competency evaluation.
- Certification represents verified competence at the time of issuance.
- Candidates must provide truthful documentation and comply with all NHB policies.
Anti-Fraud Commitment
NHB enforces zero tolerance for falsified credentials, forged documents, impersonation, cheating, or misrepresentation. Violations may result in permanent revocation of certification and, where appropriate, institutional notification.
Suspension & Revocation
Certification may be suspended or revoked if fraud is identified, ethical violations occur, or conduct compromises patient safety. Status updates are reflected in the NHB National Certification Registry for transparent public protection.
